FAQ

Event FAQ

  • Common Ground Summit is a highly curated gathering. Our community consists of community leaders, business leaders, impact investors, indigenous leaders, elders, youth activists, chefs, storytellers, farmers, artists, entrepreneurs and thought leader. We can’t wait for you all to meet and see what happens!

  • These are the 5 pillars of the summit and represent how we will be blocking out our time over the 3 days. Explore is your time to venture out of the conference and enjoy Kaua’i - beaches, waterfalls, surfing, hiking, diving, you name it. Experience represents the entertainment, art, hands on workshops, wellness, parties and unique programming hosted by Common Ground. Engage is the content of the event where we dive into placebased regenerative leadership. Eat is the incredible culinary programming. And Connect is the real reason behind it all, to develop and build lasting relationships that satisfy our human experience and strengthen our ability to show up in the world.

  • A typical day starts with morning wellness programming, followed breakfast, 2 morning content sessions and lunch. One morning is reserved for a special outing and a unique hands on experience at a local organization. In the afternoon, we typically have 1 more session, followed by Experience workshops, a special Pau Hana, an exquisite Dinner, and night-time celebrations. The detailed schedule will be available roughly 1 month before the event. We will share a daily itinerary to help you plan your days in the weeks ahead.

  • During events and dining experiences, we encourage all attendees to unplug and be as present as possible. Cellular service is generally strong on Kaua’i (with some holes) and wifi connectivity will be available in select venues on the Common Ground campus. Most accommodations on Kaua’i have high speed internet, but if it’s critical, it’s always advised to double check.
